If you could have dinner with any three living or historical people, who would they be?
The first would be my grandmother, Mo, who passed away when I was in middle school. I would also love to have dinner with Kate Middleton and Nany Meyers!
What's your favorite memory with The Dove Agency?
When I first started, we were a smaller company, and I really appreciated how intentional and personal everything felt. As we’ve grown, we’ve worked hard to maintain that close-knit, supportive atmosphere. Even with our expansion and growth, we continue to prioritize celebrating each other and creating meaningful connections. One example of this was the wonderful baby shower the team threw for both my coworker Natalie and me. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a reminder of the strong bonds we’ve kept as we’ve grown.
Give a top tip for procurement best practices.
Organization is key. It is essential to keep everything organized, from receipts to the items you are ordering. Keeping your process streamlined is a top procurement practice.
What's one work-related skill you have mastered that you never expected to use so often?
Learning to use new systems and software was a skill I mastered and never expected. I never thought I would use QuickBooks as often as I do!
What inspired you to pursue a career in this field?
I studied fashion merchandising in college, and it was something that I loved. I then took a position at the Niemen Marcus buying office, and part of that was home décor. I fell in love with home décor and started following designers on Instagram and social media. From there, I fell in love with interior design.
What's a professional accomplishment you're particularly proud of?
Being at The Dove Agency for almost three and a half years, I am proud of the relationships I have built and made with the designers I work with. Knowing that I have worked with them for so long is a very cool thought.
